Cellule Anti Fake News

COVID 19 is not immune to misinformation as it continues to feed the media, but also the web and social networks, sometimes in the wrong direction and this misinformation takes many.
This initiative is to put my skills at the service of humanity, a call for contributions in my network and several people to join me in the struggle.

What are specific, distinctive, strong elements in this project?

The force of the Cellule Anti Fake News lies in the fact that it is a solution
preventive and also curative: media education is done upstream, but also downstream

Which specific lessons, do's and don'ts would you like to share? What would be suggestions for others when preparing or implementing the project in their own city?

Fake news appeals to our emotions, not to our reasoning, which generates consequences. Indeed, they arouse different feelings such as anger, solidarity, fear, surprise or even disgust. The sensational therefore outweigh the rational. This information, sometimes contradictory, does not seek to inform us but to deceive us, which is why social mistrust has reached an important level and individuals no longer know what information they can trust.
