‘Understanding International Urban Policy’ is an elective, part of the 12- month Master in Urban Management and Development of Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), Erasmus University.

The main theme during the online panel discussion of the elective on Monday 15 March 2021 is: the role of knowledge creation linked to the SDGs and the New Urban Agenda. During the panel discussion, challenges related to urban knowledge exchange are discussed. What hinders urban knowledge sharing, and what can support urban professionals in finding the right information they can use for their local challenge? Contextualization on the SGDs and the New Urban Agenda, current Covid-19 challenges, and urban sustainability will be covered. Closer Cities will participate in the panel and will provide a short presentation.
