The Studio III shall focus on developing an approach toward integration of the regional context with special emphasis on the phenomenon of migration in Delhi-NCR, enhancing the capabilities of working on practical regeneration framework for the rural areas coupled with the urban neighbourhoods in the greater regional context.

Initial Stage.
The idea of Gram Swaraj is of complete republic, independent of its neighbours for its own vital wants, and yet interdependent for many others in which dependence is a necessity. Based on the principles of Gram Swaraj integrating neighbouring towns and cities with the rural hinterland would be one of the key outcomes of the studio.
The studio also aims to develop an understanding of the urban-rural (regional) dynamics and the various push-pull factors that play a major role resulting in migration towards the next higher order settlement. The objective of
the studio is move the understanding of the urban phenomena and process to the scale of a region.
