Rotterzwam believes in a society that closes cycles, makes maximum use of raw materials and consumes more vegetable than animal proteins. We do this by working together locally, regionally and internationally to stimulate and facilitate the production of mushrooms from local residual flows.

The results of the project so far
We have saved more then 100.000 kilo of coffee grounds from incineration, inspired more then 40.000 people to convert their coffee grounds at home into mushrooms and trained more then 40 entrepreneurs to start a mushroom farm in their own city through our Mushroom Master Program.
What are specific, distinctive, strong elements in this project?
Our open source approach and the way we share what we have learned with the world. Through this approach we offer a wide range of products and services related to mushroom production, awareness and delicious snacks based on vegetable proteins.
Which specific lessons, do's and don'ts would you like to share? What would be suggestions for others when preparing or implementing the project in their own city?
When you want to do profitable urban mushroom farming, consider to stop looking for scattered information on the internet. Cut 8 to 12 months of your learning curve and join the rotterzwam education program.
